ALEXANDRIA, Va. – InfoReliance, a leading Information Technology (IT) consulting firm, announces the opening of its new office in Alexandria, Va. This new location will host the team supporting several U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command (WTC) projects.
The U.S. Army WTC is the central, comprehensive source for the oversight of wounded, injured and ill soldiers. InfoReliance was awarded a contract in September 2010 to develop a collaborative system to enhance the level of care the Command and external medical organizations can provide to U.S. soldiers. The new system, the Knowledge Management/Intranet Extranet Portal (KM/IEP) will give all care providers the ability to quickly share information with each other and rapidly assess what type of medical support the soldiers needs.
The company’s Alexandria office has state of the art features such as a configurable training room that accommodates up to 60 students and a video teleconferencing room. The new features will provide end users of the new portal a robust training environment. Users will receive training on all the capabilities of KM/IEP and how KM/IEP can simplify the administrative aspects of their jobs so they are able to focus more on supporting the troops.
“What makes InfoReliance stand out from competitors is our strong commitment to support our customers and their mission,” says Marshall Thames, Chief Operating Officer, “Being geographically close to the U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command will allow us to better serve their needs and strengthen our partnership.”
InfoReliance’s newest office is located at 2111 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22314. The Alexandria location will be the company’s sixth office. The company also has offices in Dumfries, Va.; Fairfax, Va. (headquarters); Huntsville, Ala.; Stafford, Va.; and Washington, D.C.
