Overview

Until recently, it was difficult for Marines to locate educational information that would enhance their knowledge and combat readiness. With training data buried within multiple legacy systems, Marines often had to hunt for training knowledge through unorganized, disparate server files.

As a remedy, the U.S. Marine Corps' Training and Education Command (TECOM) partnered with InfoReliance to create and deploy a Web-based central access point for all of the Marine Corps’ training and education information. In addition, InfoReliance designed a convenient way for non-technical subject-matter experts to publish dynamic content to this Web portal.

Since its launch, the TECOM Portal and content management solution have delivered financial benefits, process efficiencies and training quality enhancements to the Marine Corps.
